Luther "Butch" Goings is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. He is a master carver doing both wood and stone work. Butch can do a variety of effigies as well as mask making and pipe making. He also is knowledgeable in gathering basket materials. Charles Jumper is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. He is a self-taught coppersmith and does work in woodburning. Charlie’s work is unique because he combines traditional Cherokee patterns and designs from pottery and baskets into gorgeous copper jewelry. Waylon Long is an enrolled member of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. He is a talented river cane mat maker. Waylon is experienced in gathering his own river cane and preparing his materials from scratch, including gathering and using natural dyes for his mats.
